and her name will be

I have been picking out my future children’s names for as long as I can remember and the time has finally come to where I can actually use one of them;) I worked my first air show back in 2006 after I joined the Air Force and was stationed at MacDill, AFB. I was working the aid station when a mother came by with her beautiful little girl who had an allergic reaction to sun block. Her mother signed her into the sign in log and that’s when I realized what her name was. I thought it was such a beautiful name and it stayed with me ever since. I especially liked the fact that it has my middle name (Lynn) in it!
Her middle name will be a place that my husband and I both love so very much and that is a place in St. Lucia called Jade Mountain. If you have never heard about it then please Google it immediately and you too can see why we fell in love. My husband was up late one night watching the travel channel when he stumbled upon the top 10 destinations countdown. We we're in the market to find something amazing because we needed a place to honeymoon so he tuned in. The next day he showed me what ended up being our future honeymoon destination and I was in awe. The place was number one on this particular countdown and after vacationing there for our honeymoon I can definitely see why. We have decided to visit there again for our ten year anniversary and until then we will have our daughter to remind us about the most beautiful place that we have ever seen. Her name will be Adelyn Jade.

we're expecting baby h

It's been awhile since my last post and for good reason, I promise. My husband and I found out that we're expecting our first child in September and are just over the moon with excitement. I did have a great first trimester, so thats not the reason I have been slacking, I was just extra tired and all I wanted to do was sleep. I am now a few weeks into my second trimester and I'm feeling excellent.

We still don't know the sex of our lil one because the baby was playing shy, but hopefully by this time next week we will be able to tell. I am excited to start blogging again and post about my newest obsessions. Hope that everyone is well.
