I went into work on Tuesday, June 12th like any other day. I
got a call around lunch time from my doctors office who was actually calling in
regards to another patient. I ended up telling her that I haven’t felt my baby
girl move in a couple of days and was wondering if I should come in just to
make sure that everything was fine. She gave me an afternoon appointment and that’s
the last time that I thought about it. Since I had no idea that something so
horrible could be wrong, I didn’t even bother asking my husband to come with
me. I arrive at my appointment, still not sure what to expect, just thought
that she was “chill” like her daddy. My doctor gave me an ultrasound and in that
moment my life stopped. Our precious little Adelyn Jade no longer had a
heartbeat.
I ended up giving birth to our little angel June 13, 2012
@7:47pm. She weighed 1lb 12oz and was 14.35 inches long. Her umbilical cord was
unusually long and got twisted; there was nothing we could do.
I wanted to write just a little something so that I can give
all of our friends/family answers to the questions I know that you have and
also provide you with her funeral service information in case you wanted to
attend. We really appreciate all the calls/texts that we have been receiving
and your kind words during this most difficult time.
